Alternative Certification
Alternate Path 2 is for persons who already hold a master's degree in education and are seeking to add Educational Leader certification to a valid teaching certificate. To be eligible you must:
- hold a valid Louisiana Type B or Level 2 teaching certificate or have a comparable level out-of-state teaching certificate;
- have three years of teaching experience in your area of certification;
- have previously completed a graduate degree program in education from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

Principals for Tomorrow
The Principals for Tomorrow program is a high-quality, intensive training program for those teacher leaders who aspire to be administrators. Requirements for enrollment in the program include:

Current employee of the EBRPSS;

Possess at least five (5) years of successful teaching experience;

Currently hold a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate that includes Principal endorsement
-
Meet technology-based requirements including access to a computer, printer, Internet, and e-mail address;

Complete and submit a Principals for Tomorrow application.
